Our Vision

Harwood Methodist Church is following a Vision to be an outward facing church, serving the community, working in partnership with a number of agencies, and seeking to be a focal point of the community, with Christ at our centre, which aims to support the work that we see God already doing in the community round about us. Harwood Methodist Church

Bringing the good news of Jesus Christ to the people of Harwood

Harwood Methodist Church was formed by the merger of two successful, respected and well established Methodist churches; each with their own gifts, graces and history. Since September of 2009 we have spent a great deal of time praying, reflecting and listening to God about what it is that he is calling us to be as the church in this place.

Part of the response to that call is a significant redevelopment and reshaping of our physical buildings in Harwood.

You will find information about our redevelopment here

What’s On

Phillip Courtney Clegg – challenge of a lifetime

On 6th July Phillip will fly to Geneva, along with two fellow climbers, to begin the greatest challenge of his life as he climbs ‘Gran Paradiso’ the highest mountain in Italy at 4061 meters and a few days later he will

climb ‘Mont Blanc’, Southern Europe’s highest mountain at 4810 meters. All the money raised from this will go to our building project. To make a donation:

· go to justgiving.com and search for Phillip Mont Blanc

· see Phillip Courtney Clegg

· have a word with Pam Marshall or Joyce Booth in church on Sunday mornings

· put your details on the donation form which is on the click board at the back of church

Please pray for Phillip as he trains hard for this event and for strength, perseverance and protection on the climb.
