Our Vision

Harwood Methodist Church is following a Vision to be an outward facing church, serving the community, working in partnership with a number of agencies, and seeking to be a focal point of the community, with Christ at our centre, which aims to support the work that we see God already doing in the community round about us. Harwood Methodist Church

Bringing the good news of Jesus Christ to the people of Harwood

Redevelopment

Harwood Methodist Church was formed by the merger of two successful, respected and well established Methodist churches; each with their own gifts, graces and history. Since September of 2009 we have spent a great deal of time praying, reflecting and listening to God about what it is that he is calling us to be as the church in this place.

Part of the response to that call is a significant redevelopment and reshaping of our physical buildings in Harwood.

You will find information about our redevelopment here

Includes progress and pictures of the

completed work on Phase 1

Our Christmas Services

We continue to work towards phase 2 of our development project (the construction of a new building at the Longsight site)

You can donate online to our redevelopment project through our justgiving page

Welcome

We are starting a new Christian young adults group (for 18+). Our first meeting will be on Thursday 1st December. Meet outside Longsight Church Hall at 7:30pm and going to the Grey Mare for 8pm

for a getting to know each other and introduction to the group evening. It would be great to see you there. If you can’t come or you aren’t a young adult—your prayers and support are always welcome. For more information see Rachel Davies or Amy Green.
